Tale of the Black Forest is the title track of the EP. Alex Campelo had an idea to compose the music after reading the book “The Necromancer / The Tale of the Black Forest”, a gothic novel by Ludwig Flammenberg. The song was made by imagining the scene where the necromancer Volkert evokes spirits in the dungeon of an abandoned castle within the black forest. The part of the song in which the organ enters the solo would be the spirit emerging in the middle of the ritual.
